We’re seeking a Junior Designer to work on a variety of multifamily, commercial, and residential projects.
Candidate will be involved in all project phases from design to installment, gaining invaluable experience in the trade. They will assist in construction plan drafting/production, sourcing finishes and products, procuring fixtures + furnishings, and project installations. This is a part-time position with the possibility of becoming a full-time position based on performance.
Qualifications:
1-2 years experience in or an understanding of the interior design/construction industry
Proficient in AutoCAD (Individual will be involved in drafting of plan sets and details for construction)
Understanding of Sketchup and Photoshop (preferred, not required)
Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as with a team
The commitment:
This is a part-time position paid an hourly rate WITH SOME FLEXIBILITY OF WORKING FROM HOME. average time required is 15-20 Hours per week, this may vary based on weekly project workload. Individual must have a reliable car to travel to office, errands, and job sites as needed.
